Does the NexAI front desk work with my field-service software or CRM?

David He, FounderUpdated 4 min read
The short answer

Today the front desk books into Google Calendar and texts you a summary of every call. Direct connections to Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, GoHighLevel and HubSpot are on the roadmap, not live. Until one ships for your software, the booking reaches you as a calendar invite and a text, and I will tell you on the fit call which connection is next.

What works today, and what does not

"On the roadmap" means I have researched how that software lets outside tools in, and it is on the build list. It does not mean it works today. I will update this table the day a connection goes live, not before.

What each platform lets outside tools do

Whether any AI receptionist can book into your software depends on what the software allows, and on which plan you pay for. As of October 2026:

PlatformOpen to outside tools? What it takesZapier
ServiceTitanYes, for approved partnersA certified marketplace app. Partners pay annual dues plus a per-customer fee or a revenue share.Yes, including a Create Booking step
Housecall ProYesThe MAX plan, about $299 a month billed yearlyEssentials and up, but it can only create a customer, not a job
JobberYesAny app you approve. Jobber gives developers a free test account.Connect plan and up. Can create clients, requests and jobs.
WorkizWebhooks out; API access through Workiz supportAsk WorkizYes, can create leads
FieldEdgePartners onlyA FieldEdge partnershipNot confirmed
Service FusionYesThe Pro plan, about $533 a month billed yearly. No webhooks. Not confirmed

Four questions to ask any vendor who says "we integrate"

  1. Does it create a job, or just a customer? Some connections only add the caller's name and number. Someone still has to book the job.
  2. Does it read your real availability? Booking without checking your schedule creates double-bookings. Ask whether it checks open times or just drops a request in a queue.
  3. Does it need a more expensive plan of yours? Housecall Pro's API needs MAX. Service Fusion's needs Pro. That cost is yours, not the vendor's.
  4. Can you see it working on your account before you sign? A demo on the vendor's sandbox does not prove it works with your setup.

What I do in the meantime

The front desk still answers the call, sorts emergencies from routine work and sends you the details by text in a form that takes a minute to enter. If your software is not connected yet, tell me which one you use on the fit call. The order I build in follows what paying customers run.

Tier 1, the Speed-to-Lead Front Desk, is $497/month with $0 setup. Tier 2, the Complete AI Front Desk + Custom Site, is $997/month with $1,500 setup and adds the live AI voice receptionist.

More questions home-service contractors ask

Does NexAI integrate with ServiceTitan?

Not yet. ServiceTitan only lets certified marketplace partners book into an account, and NexAI is not one today. It is on the roadmap. For now you get a calendar invite and a text summary of each booking.

Does NexAI integrate with Jobber or Housecall Pro?

Not yet. Both are on the roadmap. Jobber is the easier of the two to connect, because any approved app can create requests and jobs. Housecall Pro only opens its API on its MAX plan.

What calendar does the front desk book into?

Google Calendar, on Tier 2. It checks open times before it offers a slot to the caller.

Can I use Zapier to connect it myself?

Not today. The front desk does not send bookings to Zapier yet. That hand-off is on the roadmap because it would cover software that is hard to connect directly.
