The AI tools we actually runin client work.

Not every tool on the market. The ones that earned a place in real projects, with what each one does and where we use it. No tool company pays to be on this page.

01 · What we install in your business7 tools

The job first. Then the tool that does it.

In client work

AI webmaster (Claude Code, GitHub Actions, preview links, text and email requests)

The owner asks for a website change by text or email. An AI agent makes the change and opens it for review. Nothing goes live until the owner approves it on a preview link.

Where we use it: A nonprofit education center has run its website this way since September 2026.

In client work

Cloudflare Workers + Astro

Fast, low-cost websites. A change deploys only after it passes its checks, and we confirm the live site is serving the approved version.

Where we use it: Two client websites, a print and signage company and a members’ dinner club, moved off their old platforms in October 2026.

In client work

Resend

Sends the emails a website or app needs, like quote requests and password resets.

Where we use it: Quote requests from a print company’s website land in its sales inbox, and preview copies of the site cannot send. RiseSync’s app sends password-reset codes through it.

In client work

CallRail + Google Tag Manager + Search Console

Shows which calls and form fills came from which page or ad, and whether Google can read the site.

Where we use it: Set up on two client websites at launch, with the sitemap verified in Search Console.

In client work

Photo cleanup with an OpenAI image model

Makes a client’s own photos look professional instead of using stock images.

Where we use it: A print company’s real photos were relit, then checked so logos, text and faces were unchanged before they went on the site.

In client work

Stripe

Online payments and invoices.

Where we use it: A nonprofit education center takes program fees online, and each payment marks the application paid automatically. NexAI invoices every engagement through it.

In client work

Expo EAS + TestFlight

Builds an iPhone app and sends it to Apple for testers and review.

Where we use it: RiseSync: we run the coaching app’s iPhone builds and TestFlight submissions.

02 · What we build with5 tools

AI writes a lot of the code. A person decides what ships.

How we work

Claude Code (Opus 5.5)

Our main coding agent. It writes code; a person decides what ships.

Where we use it: Co-wrote hundreds of commits across our client projects in 2026, each reviewed before merge.

How we work

OpenAI Codex

A second coding agent for parallel work and independent review.

Where we use it: Used for separate branches on client website builds, merged only after review.

How we work

Playwright + axe-core + Lighthouse CI

Automatic browser, accessibility and speed checks.

Where we use it: Every change to two client websites passes these checks before it can deploy.

How we work

Granola

Records and summarizes calls.

Where we use it: A client’s kickoff call became the written build plan for its website.

Built by us

OpenBrain

Our own system: the shared memory our agents read before they act, so they work from our real notes, decisions and client rules.

Where we use it: Every agent session at NexAI starts from it.

03 · On the benchtesting now

Tools we are testing. Not recommendations yet.

  • Retell AI (voice calls)
  • RevenueCat (app subscriptions)
  • Twilio missed-call text-back
  • Mailgun (email)

A tool moves onto this page only after it runs in client work. Each entry is reviewed at least every 90 days.
