What it is
Nex Immigration guides people through USCIS forms and flags the issues USCIS will not warn them about. Each form is defined as a schema, and one universal renderer, progress store and review report work for every form, so adding a form means writing a schema file. The live site offers a free field-by-field check with no account, an AI assistant, pricing tiers, and a form catalog. It is form-preparation help, not a law firm and not legal advice, and the site says so on the page.
The problem
USCIS forms are complex (N-400 has 140+ fields across 15 sections), expensive to get professional help with, and mistakes can delay applications by months or years.
What I built
Built a universal form renderer that works with any FormSchema definition, AI chat assistance for form questions, progress save/resume, accounts and payments, and a support tier system (Gold/Silver/Bronze) with a separate launch-certification gate that decides which forms are publicly startable.
What happened
The internal catalog holds 97 forms with Gold-tier guided previews and 9 Bronze-tier reference pages. Gold means the guided flow is built, not that the form is certified: each form is released publicly only after PDF mapping, lifecycle end-to-end tests, current-edition and semantic review checks pass. N-400 (Naturalization, about 140 fields across 15 sections) was the first Gold schema and remains the reference implementation.
